ORLANDO, Fla. -- The state of Michigan has been well represented at the Elite 11 finals over the past few years with current Michigan State quarterback’s Joe Boisture (2009) and Andrew Maxwell (2008) from the Wolverine State making the Elite 11 as well as recent Michigan signee Devin Gardner and Penn State-bound Robert Bolden.
In Orlando, Trey Heren out of Saline (Saline, Mich.) who served as Boisture’s backup this past fall won the first EA SPORTS Golden Gun Accuracy challenge of 2010.
Heren narrowly edged out Northwestern (Miami, Fla.) rising junior Elgin Hilliard, who led the entire field with 15 points heading into the finals. It took a sudden-death throw off with Heren leaving with the Golden Gun jersey. Below are the EA SPORTS Golden Gun Accuracy Challenge scores for each of Sunday’s participants.
