This is the POWERADE FAB 50 ESPNHS Team rankings for the fall season. The fall-playing states are: California (two sections), Colorado, Connecticut, D.C, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (private schools), West Virginia and Wisconsin.
The rankings are through matches played as of Nov. 21.
St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio) emphatically put its stamp on the POWERADE FAB 50 No. 1 ranking for the 2010 fall season.
While there will always be debate and lobbying by others, few can touch St. Ignatius' accomplishments this season. The team's perfect record included wins over programs from three states and it pinned the only losses on two FAB 50 teams. Along the way to its fourth state title in seven years, St. Ignatius turned in the second highest goals scored effort in program history. And if a team's final matches are the lasting memories, those also were record-setting performances. St. Ignatius defeated a pair of FAB 50 teams by a combined 9-3, the most goals ever scored in the Ohio large school state tournament.
St. Ignatius joins the ranks of the all-time great high school teams and earned a second FAB 50 crown.
The following is a list of the all-time FAB 50 final No. 1 fall teams:
2010 - St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio)
